I am recently unemployed with 25 years of administrative, marketing and sales experience. A little over a year ago, I recently earned my real estate license. I attempted to sell real estate while holding down my full time job. (I had to pay the bills!) But, I went into the red almost immediately with desk fees, etc. I need more training in order to sell real estate. I don’t want to throw any more money away, if there is no future for me in selling real estate. I need to work for 20 more years. I’m wondering if we are in a time when real estate agents are going to be phased out? I have changed companies and put my license in referral. I believe it will cost me another $250.00 to take a two week course to get going again. I need some advice.
